Booking Conditions

Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending receipt of 33% deposit. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Non payment by the due date mayl be treated as cancellation.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be subject to the following charges:

• More than 42 days 25%,
• 15 to 41 days 75%,
• 1 to 14 days 90% (of the total price).

Cancellation insurance is available from most insurance brokers, however, we will send you details of one scheme on request.

If for any reason the swimming pool is out of action for more than 24 hours (eg pump failure, electricity failure, heater failure causing pool temperature to drop below 27 degrees etc) then a refund of 7% of the weekly rate will be given for each 24 hours the pool is unavailable.This has not happened in 22 years of running the cottage and pool.

Arrival and Departure Information

The cottage is available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.

Guest Numbers

The number of people occupying the cottage must not exceed 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 3 children without prior approval from us.

Smoking

Guests are asked not to smoke in the cottage.

Pets

We are sorry but we cannot accommodate pets.

Cleaning, Damage and Breakages

The cottage should be left tidy and in the same good condition as found. Any breakages should be reported and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.

In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire or flood damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.
